Having overcome chronic back pain, depression, and major digestive issues, she knows how powerful these three disciplines can affect your life in a positive way. Carol is a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist and Pancha Karma Specialist (Ayurveda Body Therapies) and a graduate of the California College of Ayurveda, where she is currently a faculty member. Carol has been a student of yoga since the early 80’s, but it wasn’t until she met Mr.TKV Desikachar in 2009, that she experienced the true healing side of yoga. She is a graduate of the Healing Yoga Foundation in S.F., a 500-hour teacher training program in the tradition of T. Krishnamacharya.

Amanda Green
Amanda is a yoga teacher who knows firsthand that when we practice and study yoga, the things we do in our everyday life have the potential to be profoundly spiritual. She teaches from personal experience because yoga is the foundation of so many positive shifts in her life.
Amanda leads both small group classes and individuals with clear language, deep listening, and a sense of humor while holding space for each person to have their own experience. Amanda helps the ancient Yogic teachings come to life in ways that are relevant and meaningful for the modern day. She candidly relates yogic concepts to her experiences as a mom, partner, teacher, artist, blogger and encourages her students to do the same. In this way, yoga practice becomes a deeply personal journey and a means to live a fulfilling and purposeful life.
Amanda took her first yoga class in 2001 and has been practicing ever since. After moving from Seattle to Austin in 2010, she enrolled in a Hatha Yoga teacher-training program and soon after completion, she began teaching yoga full-time. Amanda met her teacher and mentor, Chase Bossart, in 2011 and her yoga practice took a turn for a more gentle and therapeutic approach and her yoga study expanded to embrace the broader teachings of yoga.
She has specialized training in yoga as therapy and continues her studies with the exceptional faculty and peers of the YATNA yoga therapy training program. Amanda lives in Austin, TX with her two daughters, husband, and extended family. She paints, dances, and writes about her life and yoga adventures in her weekly blog posts.
